What is On the Air?
The world of work is changing and Drawnalism is changing with it. On the Air is the service we developed to respond to the digital communications revolution. On the Air provides from distance engagement for online conferences, webinars, podcasts and dispersed engagement projects.
Drawnalists work live, via video or audio streaming, or as live, from recordings, to create a graphic recording of a presentation, call, discussion or debate. We can work on individual, sequential images or draw up to two hours of presentation and interaction using a tool called infinite canvas, which is navigated by scrolling and zooming.
Why book On the Air?
On the Air is innovative, fast and eco-friendly. It delivers all the benefits of our In the Moment service, in terms of demonstrating investment in an event or project, capturing and synthesising knowledge, and creating a coherent, memorable record that can be shared by participants.
However, it does this in a digital environment that is easier to set up and manage and cheaper to commission. On the Air also extends the reach of online events and key project sessions by creating Drawnalism that can be built into follow-up communications, intranets and social media. And it extends their life cycle, by creating opportunities for additional promotion and engagement.
Who books On the Air?
On the Air is being commissioned by forward-thinking organisations that want to deliver events, development opportunities, marketing and PR in new formats, built for digital.
We work with public and private sector executives, project managers, and communications experts to work out how live or as live On the Air will deliver for them. We also work with agencies looking to extend their content offers and to enhance their engagement with clients.
As with our In the Moment service, we can also advise on packages of before, during and after work. These add elements of our At the Studio before an event, to support branding, promotion and audience anticipation.
