Drawnalism have been fortunate to work with the UK’s Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs – or, Defra during the past year and this spring we were asked to contribute to a large upcoming conference to be held at the Ordnance Survey – the national mapping and geolocation agency.

A bigger draw in Brussels

The second meeting of the European Visualisation community followed, as it should, the first and because Drawnalism are keen to be involved in building the community of professionals who do what we do, we were very happy to attend the two day workshop.

Putting things together again

It is a privilege of Drawnalism that we get to attend inspiring events with interesting people. And sometimes amid the enthusiasm which such events nearly always grow there are things you hear which just flat out humble you while you are at work. FortisNet was a day which had more than its fair share of them.
