Into the Futurescape

Into the new world of applied Artificial Intelligence and robotics at Futurescape 2026.

Attendees had the opportunity to:

• Explore cutting‑edge technology showcased by regional and national exhibitors

• Learn practical ways to integrate new technologies into their organisation

• Solent FutureScape reinforced the region’s position as a fast‑growing hub for innovation, digital capability and future-facing skills development. 

More than 500 attendees, connected with speakers, wandered the exhibition, soaked up the demos, chatted with exhibitors, asked brilliant questions, and filled the venue with the exact energy that makes the Solent business community special. 

Titan the robot ( remote control, robotics, data ) did a lot of the in the Moment public relations for the event and who knows if he’ll be back from the next event in the Futurescape series.

What was the event like?

For a first event it was succesful.

At the moment there was a heavier focus on Training for use of AI in business rather than actual real-world use case but this will change - and it must.

It reminded us of some even earlier use case adoptions for AI and applied data analysis like the Social Care Data Analytics video we developed with nquiringminds and the Southern Policy Centre back during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
