Drawnalism Europe and the Treaty of Rome
Friday 25th March 2022 is the sixty-fifth anniversary of The Treaty of Rome: the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community (EEC).
Originally signed by just six countries (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands), its successor, the European Union (EU) now consists of 27 countries. The EU allows free movement of goods, capital, services and people between member states.
Brexit: Boo!
Sadly, in 2016 a ( slim ) majority of people in the United Kingdom (UK) voted to leave the EU, coining the now infamous term ‘Brexit’. On 31st January 2021 the UK formally left the EU. We wrote about that time here.
Drawnalism Europe: Hip!
In response, we established a sister company, Drawnalism Europe, based in the Republic of Ireland. We wrote about why we did that here. As you’ll read this is because we have always considered ourselves Europeans, and we have many friends, collaborators and business partners across the continent and beyond.
Happy clients: Hip!
Since then, we are pleased to report that Drawnalism Europe has continued to provide a seamless service for companies, governments, and charities across Europe. We continue to enjoy working with our friends and neighbours, and look forward to doing so for many years to come.
Much of our business comes through personal recommendations, and when people spot our work ‘in the wild’, as in this case study for Drawnalism Europe from Red Thread EU. It makes us so happy when people feel that we get it ‘just right’.
We are pleased to say that there are many other examples:
The Federal Statistical Office of Germany
European Network for Rural Development
EU Committee of the Regions
REN 21
Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp
Eurochild
