Those Were the (DevOps) Days

Towards the end of September, Alex was in London supporting the Devops London Conference, which is a two-day event:

DevOpsDays is a worldwide series of community run technical conferences covering topics of software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. It is run by volunteers from the community, for the benefit of the community.

It’s pretty big — around 400 attendees — and Alex was delivering In the Moment on tablet computer, and sharing the output digitally.

For Digital In the Moment, the Drawnalist usually sketches first, then adds detail and colour so, if you were following the #DevOpsDays or #DevOpsDaysLdn hashtags, you may have seen early versions of some drawings becoming increasingly colourful as the day went on.

DevOpsDays is great fun, and is a mixture of traditional and open space workshops. Our Digital In the Moment service is highly versatile, and we can support either or both styles.

We have some really nice feedback on the day, and some presenters were kind enough to share and comment publicly on LinkedIn.

We were also delighted to see quite a few happy tweets about our drawings. Here’s an example:

That’s a Wrap

So, all in all, a really productive event, clearly enjoyed by attendees.
