Join the Inktober Revolution!
Keen followers of my Twitter feed - @drawnalismAlex - may have noticed a some mildly cryptic images appearing over the last couple of weeks. I've been participating in Inktober - an annual drawing challenge that takes place on social media. The rules are simple
1. Make a drawing in ink
2. Post it
3. Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2018
4. Repeat
You can draw whatever you like, although they do also provide a Prompt List with a word for each day that you can choose to interpret as you wish. I also decided - where possible - to make the drawing relate to what I was doing that day, and photograph it in situ.
Some of the connections have been a little tangential, I'll admit, and I've even included images that I drew whilst at the Copa Cogeca Farmers Congress in Linz (along with a couple of bonus sketches)!
It's been a fun exercise help get me back in the habit of drawing daily and, as we're at the halfway point, here's the story so far:
There's two more weeks of sketching to come - and it's not too late to join in! You can follow my progress over on my Twitter stream.
